Kim met Chris in Asheville, North Carolina in 1996. As their relationship grew, Chris's love of news and knowledge was a good match for Kim's desire to learn about non-traditional health practices. They've had direct experience of the benefits of many specific kinds of supplements and homeopathic medicines, through years of use and positive results.

Kim grew up immersed the health field, coming from two generations of nurses. She was raised in Vermont, and then moved to North Carolina during her senior year at high school. Chris is from Asheville and met Kim shortly after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

Even though Kim's mother is a nurse, her mother turned away from western traditional medicine when Kim was a young teenager, suffering from misdiagnosed symptoms. Kim found relief through progressive, informed Chiropractors. In adulthood, Kim entered into the alternative health industry, where she gained valuable experience learning about herbs and nutritional supplements, Iridology and Applied Kinesiology, Homeopathy and Holistic Medicine, and many other alternative health practices.

Kim and Chris believe that a balanced viewpoint must be taken with regards to Western medicine. They do not hesitate taking themselves to the doctor if the situation warrants it or a checkup is needed. But they also believe that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

They would like to share their knowledge as they want to bring good people along with them on their journey to greater health, and less pain, well into our advanced years of life.
